New Years Eve Downtown Nashville Elopement. Tennessee Wedding and Elopement Photographer. East Coast Elopements. Nashville Wedding and Elopement Photographer.

Ashley and Tyler and I met in a wedding Facebook group, and they were looking to Elope in Nashville and needed a photographer! I immediately hopped on this as soon as I saw the post hoping they would see me, I love love a good downtown elopement, and on New Years Eve in Nashville? Absolutely!

Finding out why they decided to elope in Nashville is honestly one of the best love stories I think I have heard. Apparently, Tyler tried to propose two or three times and Ashley thought he was joking, which honestly that would be me. They made one last trip to Nashville and went to the Jack Daniels Distillery, did some tastings and took some shots, and Ashley asked Tyler to marry her. He of course said yes, and they incorporated Jack Daniels into their Elopement!

We all met on the Nashville Pedestrian Bridge, Tyler hadn’t seen Ashley at all, so we did a first look on the bridge. It was super sweet even with all of the people around, including the multiple proposals I saw happening!

We found a little spot overlooking some of the city on the bridge, they thankfully brought some umbrellas and laid them out so we could have a little privacy during the ceremony! It was a sweet and simple ceremony that ended with some SHOTS! Tyler and Ashley along with me and their few guests all took a shot of whiskey in honor of them. I really don’t remember them looking away from each other at all during the ceremony which I think just sort of tells how much they love each other.

The ceremony ended and we took a few sunset shots on the bridge, they brought along some biodegradable confetti canons so we faked a little wedding exit, and then headed to Broadway!

Tyler and Ashley ended up having their first dance in a local bar on Broadway, we took some photos around the fountain, and then walked Broadway some more and took photos wherever they wanted whether that was Miranda Lamberts Bar \ restaurant, or in the middle of the busy Broadway street. We just had fun until they had to leave for their dinner reservation!
